After a tough day at work, playing billiards can be an amazing way of refreshing and rejuvenating yourself. These days many offices have billiard pools where employees can refresh themselves during lunch breaks or after office. I remember walking into an upscale bar and restaurant a few years ago and falling in love with the purple pool table felt. They only had a few tables, but they were a glorious sight to behold. I loved them instantly, though I don’t know why.

Bottle Pool - The billiards game of bottle pool requires imagination, a lot of skill, and an empty beverage container or shaker bottle.  The bottle, either a leather or plastic container is more or less an obstacle in the middle of this billiards course which is meant to be a game of extreme skill.  The cue ball is set up on the far right of the billiards table slightly overbalanced to one side, the bottle is placed in the middle, and the only two balls used are the 1 and 2 balls set up against the far wall at opposite ends.

An antique pool table will add style and sophistication to any upscale game room. Many people are adopting the older fashioned versions of this classic game of skill for a number of reasons. The large piece of furniture is always a work of art in most cases. The newer styles are not nearly as finely crafted or as detailed as the antique pool table. It would be next to impossible to find a new table that boasts the traditional craftsmanship and intricate designed found on their antique pool table counterparts.
